most dominant survivor ever?

JT didn't get a vote against him the entire time. plus, in the finals, he got all 7 votes. You can't get any more dominant than that...

I mean looking at the angle purely playing the game, yes I would say he was probably the most dominant. But overall most dominant survivor...I'd say probably not. The guy Tom from seasons ago was incredbile. He got no votes against him the entire time except for when the jury decided the winner where 1 vote was cast for the other person. But he also caught a fucking shark, dominated all challenges including making a make shift snorkle from his hands in an underwater challenge. That guy was crazy good.

Now here is my question about this season. I think we'll all agree Stephen was gay(i don't think he ever said he was but i mean dude is for sure), but do you think JT was as well? A little broke back mountain going on? He may have played the country boy but i mean they developed a interesting friendship. It seemed like when they were pleading their cases to the jury that it was like a relationship couple fighting. I'm just saying. A lot hugging, knee holding, etc. This "friendship" that has lasted outside of the game. I'd like to hear your guy's thoughts on it.

I don't think JT is gay. he seems too normal

unless i missed something in the reunion show (didnt watch it), i dont think jt is gay, although they did have some very weird moments...

as far as the most dominant player, tom was definetly the most dominant by far, but jt definetly is up there when you think about the fact he didn't get a vote. tom however basically knew he was gone if he didnt win every immunity challenge, and then he straight up did win every challenge (literally, I think he won every reward too if im not mistaken), so I have to give him the nod. The only vote Tom didn't get in the end was from a wacko dolphin trainer who was in love with the girl in the final 2 (actually told tom to vote him off so that girl would make the final 2), so I hardly even count that against Tom.

i guess this comes down to your definition of dominant. just because someone is physically dominant, doesn't mean they are dominant in the game. if anything, JT is more dominant b/c he didn't need to win every challenge b/c no one wanted him gone anyways. he was dominant in the sense that everyone loved him and followed his lead.

Tom, on the other hand, had to win challenges to stay alive. JT didn't.

i apologize for always slowing down the posts. i know my perfect view points can halt discussions.

tom played the game just as well. it just so happened that he won challenges. did jt catch and kill a shark? i mean i'm not saying its Tom by a landslide but i think he gets the nod. and while its not all about physical strength there were team challenges were he practically single handed won the challenge. plus for some reason these people on this episode were dumb. jt would have been a top target if it was playing.

arguing that jt is more dominant than tom is about the same as trying to argue virginia beach had better waves than the north shore

has*

the objective of the game is to avoid votes against you, not to win challenges. it's impossible to be more dominant than JT b/c he never got a single vote the entire game.

tom would survive in the wild 100 times longer than JT i'm sure. But I'm just talking about the game.

avoiding votes is a non issue for dominant players like tom

you guys forget the one variable in this equation. JT had to go against the single most bad ass contestant ever on Survivor: Coach.

Poorman said...

hahahaha, very true. A case could be made for the Coach as the most dominant player really if he would have won. If it wasn't for that GRUESOME back spasm he got during his last immunity challenge, I think he woulda went all the way

booncakes said...

that just made me lol. this season would have sucked without coach.

if they ever do another all star game coach needs to be in that for sure
