So I just paid off my car and i'm a little interested in looking into buying an SUV. The little civic is too small for me. Any input on ones you like or what you've heard that's had good reviews would be appreciated.
I tend to like the nicer ones, which I can't really afford brand new (range rover, navigator, tahoe). Any suggestions on nice, but not top of the line?
Does size matter (I know your girl probably tells you all the time it doesn't). Smaller SUV or bigger? Also do you want new or would you be interested in used?
i was thinking about the MDX actually...one of my top choices. I'm really looking for midsize, luxury if possible. I guess I could do used, but new cars are just so nice. My price range is about $35k to $40k
The MDX starts over $40, you could def. find one slightly used in your price range. A fully loaded RDX would fit nicely in that budget but it would be a bit smaller. Infiniti has the EX which is their RDX equivalent that is really nice IMO. And priced right around what you are looking for. Its got good looks and some good technology.
I also like the look of the older RDX and MDX models before they did the face lift. They made them a bit more square.

if US gas was overpriced, our refineries should have made a ton of money right?
oh wait, north american refineries lost 150 million dollars in 2009.
anyway, was just giving you a hard time bud. only advice i have on SUVs is to buy something with <15 mpg.
for clarity, that is our refineries that lost 150 million, and we are the best at operating anything. others probably lost a lot more
