Favorite games you played as a kid

Like the title says what were some of your favorite games you played during your childhood? Both early and late. Some of these we will all be able to relate to (pool soccer anyone hell or perfect dark, bond, mario kart?). I'd have to say other than pool soccer one of my favs was soccer golf in the back yard. We would take beach balls, set up lawn chairs, etc. as obstacles and make "holes". We'd have par 3s, 4s, 5s, all based on where the "tee box" was. It was great fun because even with the age difference and physical differences between myself, prime, and term back then it was fair because those beach balls did not respond well to people who could kick harder. What were some you remember?

Counter-Strike was by far the best video game we all ever played together. The amount of time we all put into that game over the years definitely surpassed that of any of the other games we ever played.

In terms of non-video games, I would have to say pool soccer was the best. I think one of the coolest thing about it was that it obviously could only be played during the summer; which made the anticipation of the season fun as well as the dynamics of the game with changing the balls every year. Everyone would have to shift their styles every single season.

yea i mean there is pretty much no question pool soccer and cs are far and beyond any of the other games we played. if i hit the 220mil lotto, i plan to build my own pool soccer arena for daytime action, and then pay double each of your current salaries (or anticipated salary in one case) for yall to play on my cs team

for non video games #1 would be capture the flag and #2 would be pool soccer.

back in the day peeps in my hood would play capture the flag at night where steve's side of the street was one base and mine was the other. people would go on 30 min missions to try and sneak in the other persons yard. the flag was a white sock and "jails" were on the porches of each house. we'd usually get around 10 peeps to play, and was awesome.

Growing up before I started hanging out with you guys we used to play 2 hand touch football in the streets everyday, definitely good times.

I'd have to say that the best game of course was CS. How many hours, days, weeks did we put into that game? Some of us played more than others, but it was always fun even when me and prime or term had little tiffs over the dumbest things. Like really, it was so fun that people would get mad enough to not talk and yet still want to play.

Of notable mention would be the wrestling feds that some of us played online. That was fun for a little while. Also I have to mention The Run, even though it wasnt really a game. Had some really fun times just driving around the city.

good call on the wrestling feds, those were definetly sweet.....that also reminded me of the original MLS simulator that bosk and i think term played. i would still play that today if I could find it online

ultrazone was pretty sick. i never went with you guys when i guess you used to go all the time, but it was definitely fun

recalling the most recent ultrazone trips, i forget who went, the game has definitely changed. kids twirling around making them impossible to hit and yet still getting high scores

I only went to ultra-zone one time in my life and i think it was me, steve, scott, and boski....and all i remember is bosk getting into a little fight with some kid

Me and Prime were just talking about Ultrazone the other week. I did get alittle too into it at times. Martian and SteveDogg were always on the leader boards. Pex, good call on the run, some quality times there. Going back to CS, I can't forget about the ECLs and when you guys had a "camp" at our house in the living room. I think I left the night to go drinking, you guys were still working out all the glitches saying it didn't seem like it was going to work in our house and come back drunk and its like fucking mission control/hacker central with everyone all intense on it. That shit was awesome.
